Job summary

Rock Hill Schools is seeking a Special Education Self-Contained UP 1/2/3 (Multi-Categorical) Teacher to provide specialized instruction and services under IDEA. The role collaborates with general education staff, families, and related services to meet diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained setting.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs, using evidence-based practices, and maintaining accurate documentation while communicating progress

Qualifications

• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal/state/district rules.
• Use evidence-based practices for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general ed teachers to adapt curriculum and assessments.
• Deliver instruction and manage classroom behavior effectively with PBIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and assessments.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive supports and behavior plans.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain student performance data to monitor progress.
