Qualifications

• Paraprofessional requirements must be met prior to employment.
• Minimum education: 60 semester hours or an associate degree or approved assessment.
• Pass Paraprofessional Assessment (5758 Reading & Writing) and (5759 Mathematics) with required scores.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in implementing the instructional program.
• Assist in preparation of materials and activities for the instructional program.
• Assist teachers in non-instructional tasks, such as record keeping.
• Assist teacher in supervision of students.
• Operate standard school equipment (laminator, copier, audiovisual).
• Escort students to and from activities and bus duty when needed.
