Differentiate lesson plans based on student needs and goals Formulate yearly annual goals for students as mandated in IEP Progress reports based on student goals Maintain logs and attendance records for all students Meet with the Pupil Personnel Committee team - provide ideas and differentiation strategies based on struggling students' needs. Communicate with parents/guardians and team members about student progress when needed. Attend parent meetings and grade team meetings (when appropriate) Collaborate with the Special Education Director, AIS team members, ELL Teacher, school psychologist, speech and language teacher, and occupational therapist teacher Create/Implement a workable schedule for your resource room groups. Other Duties:Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.Keep informed of and comply with federal, state, district, and school regulations and policies for special education teachers.Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required.Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.Maintain confidentiality.Other duties as assigned.CompensationA competitive compensation package including base salary and complete benefits is available.
