POSITION AVAILABLE: (Anticipated Dates) April 3, 2025 - May 12, 2025 RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, prepare and deliver culturally responsive and relevant lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning and engagementProvide instruction towards IEP goals in both a Resource Room and Consultant Teacher Services modelEstablish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with colleaguesPromote a classroom environment that is safe, welcoming, and affirming for all students Communicate effectively orally and in writing POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Wilson certification and/or training strongly preferred Experience utilizing multisensory reading (ex. Orton-Gillingham) preferredKnowledge of high leverage special education practicesExperience with IEP development - writing goals, progress monitoring and identification of modifications/accommodationsDemonstrated knowledge of NYS Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Frameworks Ability to analyze data to improve instructional practice and student learning outcomesPossession of appropriate New York State Teacher Certification REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of Special Education
