Job Description

The Role: Birchland Park is seeking a long-term special education substitute teacher to cover a medical leave that will go from October 8th till January. The teacher will be working with students in a special education inclusion setting and should be able to effectively modify and adapt for various levels of learning, while practicing an inclusive model. We are seeking a candidate that can read and follow an IEP and is familiar with writing progress reports. Our ideal candidate is a licensed special education teacher that loves students and is a team player. Birchland Park is a fun, community-oriented school that prides itself on providing strong academics and giving students an enjoyable middle school experience. Salary: $115/day ($130/day for retired or anyone holding a MA teacher license)
