Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services Special Education Teacher for a Buckeye, Arizona local contract for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves providing instruction to students with diverse needs in resource, inclusive, or self-contained settings, 41 weeks, 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift.

You will develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, maintain required documentation, and manage caseloads while collaborating with general education teachers, related service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Arizona Special Education Certification (Elementary K–5 or Secondary 6–12).
• Active Arizona Content Area or Generalist Certification for the applicable grade level.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience providing SPED instruction and case management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning, cognitive, and behavioral needs in resource, inclusive, or self-contained classrooms.
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, maintain documentation, and manage caseloads.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success.
• Foster a structured, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and positive behavior.
