Boothby Therapy Services LLC is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Fairlee, Vermont area for the 2026–2027 school year. The role emphasizes personalized placement and matching based on experience, age group, and geographic preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
• Valid Vermont Special Education teaching certification or eligibility.
• Experience in special education settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for placement needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Monitor student progress using data-driven practices.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings and PD activities.
• Foster inclusive, supportive learning environments that promote student success.
