Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a small K–5 caseload in Frisco, TX for the 2026–2027 year. You will provide Functional Academics instruction, collaborate with families, and support IEP processes while maintaining an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required.
• Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement required.
• Texas ESL Supplemental Certification required.
• Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST) required.
• Crisis prevention training (Handle with Care/CPI) or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction for K–5 students in Functional Academics.
• Manage a small caseload (≈9 students) with paraeducator support.
• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to plan accommodations.
• Maintain documentation and support IEP processes; foster inclusive learning.
