Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet district curriculum requirements and document preparation.
• Create accommodations for different learning styles within lessons.
• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials to address varied student needs.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to plan activities.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for IEP students.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers under campus leadership.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Help students improve study methods and habits.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
• Participate in staff development and meetings; comply with regulations and policies.
