Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary school in Brighton, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work onsite in a well-resourced self-contained classroom with 2-3 paraprofessionals to deliver individualized instruction and implement IEPs.

You\'ll design lessons, collaborate with related service providers, maintain progress records, and communicate with families to support student growth. Schedule: Tue–Fri, 34 hours/week, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid CDE Special Education teacher licensure.
• Experience with students with significant support needs preferred.
• Expertise in developing and executing IEPs.
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom engagement.
• Ability to manage and lead paraeducators.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction to a caseload of 6-13 Kindergarten through elementary-age students.
• Design and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers to optimize student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
• Engage with families and guardians regarding student growth and strategies for support.

Youll play an essential role in delivering individualized instruction and fostering a supportive environment for students in Kindergarten and beyond.
