ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract in a vibrant K-8 school near Brighton, CO. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs, delivering individualized instruction, and fostering an inclusive classroom community.

You will develop IEPs, collaborate with general educators and families, modify curricula, and monitor progress to help every student thrive within a supportive school culture.

Qualifications

  • Valid Special Education teaching license, or eligibility for certification
  • Experience working with K-8 students in inclusive or self-contained classrooms
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) utilizing best practices in special education
  • Provide direct instruction to students, both in small groups and individualized settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Modify curriculum and instructional techniques to address students unique learning needs
  • Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records as required by school policies
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current with educational standards and practices

Job description
