The role focuses on writing IEPs, progress monitoring, planning instruction, and creating a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Must have current clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting check.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Commitment to the school’s vision and mission.

Responsibilities

• writing IEPs & progress monitoring.
• Planning and preparation of instruction and assessments
• Create a respected classroom environment with a culture for learning
• Work with regular education teacher to ensure students needs are addressed
• Modify lessons to address IEP goals
• Work with Director of Student Support to design a push in pull out schedule
• Manage student behavior
• Open line of communication with faculty, students, and the students families.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the School Administration
