Applicants must hold PA teaching certification and may pursue a Temporary Private Academic Certificate.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with six credits in special education may qualify for a Temporary Private Academic Certificate.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs, lesson plans, and instructional strategies tailored to each student’s goals.
• Maintain documentation including IEPs, progress reports, and evaluation summaries.
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and families to support student progress and consistency across settings.
• Manage classroom structure and implement behavior support strategies to promote positive outcomes.
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and monitor behavior data to inform instruction and interventions.
