Job summary

Voyage Academy is seeking a Licensed Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and manage IEPs for students with disabilities. Under supervision, you will evaluate progress and ensure services meet state requirements.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to develop effective instructional goals, implement plans, and document outcomes, while maintaining district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
• Utah teaching license or willingness to obtain Utah license.
• Experience or involvement in Special Education leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and related services.

Responsibilities

• Provide research-based specialized instruction aligned with each student's IEP.
• Monitor and document progress; adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Develop and implement annual IEPs with goals and services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents.
• Manage IEP-related communications with families as primary contact.
