Job summary
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher (SPED Teacher) to join a full-time, school-based team serving Goodyear, Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff, AZ. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Arizona SPED teaching license.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse disabilities.
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction to support achievement.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers.
- Maintain documentation of student performance and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
