Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsement(s) - Interventionist Endorsements (144 and/or 145).
• Meet all applicable requirements of ESSA.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Meet health and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student IEP records according to FERPA.
• Develop Individualized Education Plans for students with disabilities.
• Facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students in a timely manner per state and Federal law.
• Complete progress reports for students with IEPs quarterly.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned to each IEP and curriculum standards.
• Use data-driven, research-based teaching strategies to meet curriculum standards.
• Analyze state assessment results and progress data to adjust instruction.
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities at school and system levels.
