Job summary

New Story Schools in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will develop IEPs and implement diverse instructional strategies to foster progress and SEL growth.

The role requires PA Special Education certification, a Bachelor’s degree, and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PA Special Education teaching certification required.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans.
• Deliver engaging instruction with varied teaching methods.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Track student progress and prepare required documentation.
• Lead and support classroom staff to implement student plans.
