Job summary

Little City Center for Education in Palatine, IL seeks a Special Education Teacher to develop and implement learning goals aligned with residential and day services. You will provide small group instruction to students on the autism spectrum and ensure progress in the general curriculum.

You will collaborate with BCBA, lead teachers, and residential and school teams to create individualized, high-impact plans, monitor IEPs, and lead paraprofessionals while maintaining a safe and engaging

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Exceptional/Special Education or field meeting requirements for an LBS1.
Experience working with students on Autism spectrum.
Experience in a Special Education Cooperative or Intensive District Special Education Program preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide small group instruction to students diagnosed on the Autism spectrum and/or developmental disabilities.
Develop and implement IEPs and monitor progress quarterly.
Collaborate with BCBA, lead teacher, and residential/school teams to coordinate activities.
