Qualifications

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate and state-required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers a program of study based on student needs and district goals.
• Assesses student progress and maintains grades.
• Implements district educational goals and policies; manages classroom behavior fairly.
• Prepares differentiated lesson plans and aligns materials to objectives.
• Maintains clear communication with students, families and staff.
• Maintains accurate records and uses assessments to inform instruction.
• Supervises students and ensures safety during school activities.
