Job summary

The Town of North Attleborough is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead curriculum planning and implement IEPs in collaboration with the school team. You will co-treat with the school counselor, therapists, administrators, educators, and instructional assistants to deliver inclusive educational services.

The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts DESE Special Education Teacher certification, demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills, and serves as a liaison with families

Job description

Responsible for curriculum planning and implementation of IEPs. The Special Education Teacher collaborates and coordinates with administrators, educators, and instructional assistants. They co-treat/provide services to students with the school counselor, therapists and other educators. The Special Education Teacher is a liaison with families & providers, and provides educational services to students in partnership with other students.

The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts DESE state certification - Special Education Teacher, a strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem-solving skills. They will be knowledgeable and proficient with Federal/State laws and regulations and the IEP Team meeting process.

Current Massachusetts License Required
