Job summary

Therapy Source, Inc. seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide in-person services for early intervention students aged 3–4 in the District of Colombia. The role spans a full school year with potential extension and involves coordinating with multiple campuses nearby.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with a small caseload and collaborative support from a dedicated account team. Please include your resume and best times to reach you.

Qualifications

• Licensure and certification required in DC for Special Education.
• Clearances up-to-date or willing to obtain.
• Proof of professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Implement specially designed instruction to drive student achievement.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction based on data.
• Create a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom.
• Support students, parents, and general education staff.
• Mentor students on self-regulation and organizational skills.
• Develop IEPs translating into measurable results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
