In this role, you will:
Develop and implement individualized instructional programs for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Adapt curriculum materials and activities to meet each student’s goals and learning style.
Provide direct instruction in academic, social, communication, and daily living skills.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress toward goals.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe Disabilities (CA)
CLAD Certificate(Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development)
Prior experience teaching students with extensive or high-support needs preferred.
