Metro Therapy, Inc., (a Powerback Pediatrics company) is seeking a qualified Special Education teacher to deliver instructional services across school, preschool, and early intervention settings in New York. You will adhere to IEP/IFSP mandates and document progress through formal and informal assessments.
The role requires a Master’s in Special Education and current NYSED certification, with opportunities for collaboration with clinical support teams and ongoing professional development.

Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
Create materials and lesson plans.
Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.
A Masters degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited program is required.
Must have a current special education teacher certification from NYSED.
