Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
Create materials and lesson plans.
Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.
A Masters degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited program is required.
Must have a current special education teacher certification from NYSED.
