Metro Therapy, Inc. in White Plains, NY, part of Powerback Pediatrics, seeks an educator to provide individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP/IFSP goals. You will develop materials, assess progress, and support instructional teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Special Education or Education and a current NYSED Special Education certification. We offer benefits, CEUs through Medbridge, and professional development programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited program.
• Must hold a current NYSED Special Education teaching certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
• Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
• Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
• Create materials and lesson plans.
• Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.
