Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and ARD members to develop IEPs for each student.
• Implement instructional or therapeutic programs and document preparation as required.
• Assess learning styles and plan instruction using appropriate strategies and materials.
• Present subject matter per IEP guidelines and use varied media to meet student needs.
• Modify curricula with regular classroom teachers and support students in general education settings.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings and selection of instructional media.
• Select books, equipment, and other instructional media.
