MaineHealth seeks a Special Education Teacher - Developmental Disabilities to design, implement, and supervise educational services for students in year-round special purpose schools. You’ll work within multidisciplinary teams to support positive behavioral plans in the educational setting.
Requires Bachelor’s in Special Ed or related field; Maine Certification 282; Master’s preferred; and at least 1 year of DD teaching experience.
Summary:
The Special Education Teacher - DD role designs, implements, and oversees the educational services for students in the year round special purpose schools. The Special Education Teacher is an integral member of the multidisciplinary education and treatment teams and supports implementation plan of each student’s positive behavioral support plan within the educational setting.

The pay range for this position is $56,721.60to $76,710.40per year.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
