Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a SPED teacher to support K-12 students requiring additional supports in in-district or standalone settings.

You will use SESI’s instructional models and CASE PBIS framework to drive outcomes, using data to inform instruction, and collaborating with school teams and families. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with teaching certification preferred, and show commitment to learning from feedback while remaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in education or related field.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Ability to adapt and stay flexible in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans to promote academic performance.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Apply the school's behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management to ensure safety.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals and maintain forms and files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and training.
