Meeting Street Schools is seeking Certified Special Education Teachers to deliver targeted, differentiated instruction to students who need support with accessing grade-level materials. You will work across grade levels, measure progress against standards, and collaborate with MTSS teams to ensure students have the opportunity to succeed through data-driven interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• South Carolina Special Education Certification required.
• Minimum of two years of homeroom teaching experience.
• Experience and/or certification in Orton-Gillingham instructional methods preferred.

Responsabilités

• Applies deep content and pedagogical knowledge to move students closer to grade-level proficiency.
• Implements robust, outcome-based intervention plans that sequence and scaffold learning to maximize student access to grade-level standards.
• Leverages the multidisciplinary/MTSS team to increase student outcomes.
• Uses data from student work, assessments, and observations to refine interventions and support.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
