Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher to support elementary and PreK students in a self-contained setting, in a contract-based environment.

You will manage one Elementary Autism SPED (K-2) caseload and one PreK SPED caseload, develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and report outcomes to families and staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with paras and service providers, fostering a safe, inclusive classroom, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid SPED license, or willingness to be considered with emergency or pending certification.
• Open to candidates participating in the Teachers of America or ITeach programs.
• Experience teaching students with autism or working in early childhood special education preferred.
• Comfortable adapting curriculum and strategies to individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Strong collaboration skills for partnering with support staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered education.
