Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Del Valle, TX. The role is contract-full time with a pay rate of $40 per hour and a 37.50 hour workweek.

The teacher will provide services to K–12 students under the Program Administrator, collaborating with general education staff to plan and implement student programs, including instruction, tutoring, and consultation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred).
• State Teacher Certification: Elementary/Secondary/Special Teaching (preferred).
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
• Participate in planning and implementing student programs including special instruction, tutoring, and consultation with general education staff.
