Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Turtle Creek, PA. The position is a contract, full-time role with a 35-hour work week and $40 per hour pay, offering weekly paychecks.

You will collaborate with the Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff to plan and implement instructional programs, provide specialist services, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable

Responsibilities

• Special Education Teacher provides quality services to students in grades K–12.
• Plans and implements student programs including instruction, tutorials, and consultation with general education staff.
• Collaborates with program administrators and staff to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
