Job summary

Keene School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students attending charter schools for the 2026-2027 school year. You will bridge the district and charter/private settings, ensuring high-quality services while complying with state and federal special education laws.

You will lead compliance efforts, monitor progress with Student Services, and collaborate with families, districts, and private/charter institutions to ensure cohesive supports.

Qualifications

• NH Certification in Special Education with Endorsement 1900 required.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree and/or endorsements preferred.
• Experience interacting with diverse students, staff and families.
• NH criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliant special education services to charter and private school students.
• Collaborate with Student Services to monitor progress and deliver specialized instruction.
• Serve as liaison among district, private/charter schools, and families.
• Maintain accurate records and facilitate IEP meetings within legal timelines.
