Responsibilities

• Co-teaches in general education classes.
• Collaboratively implements evidenced-based co-teaching practices with seamless planning, delivery, and assessment.
• Incorporates modifications, accommodations, UDL, and differentiation in lesson planning and delivery.
• Manages a caseload of special education students and completes academic testing and report writing for evaluations.
• Prepares and monitors implementation of IEPs and provides progress reports to parents.
• Maintains accurate student records and data to support required reports and timelines.
• Serves on the IEP team and collaborates with administrators, teachers, staff, and families.
• Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated times and locations.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students' needs.
