Job summary

Green Tree School & Services in Philadelphia seeks a Substitute Teacher to provide consistent instruction and classroom leadership, ensuring safety and alignment with IEP goals across in-person, virtual, and hybrid settings.

You will deliver structured instruction, manage behavior, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student services, while documenting progress and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Pennsylvania public school, private academic, or temporary approval teaching certificate.
• Experience supporting students with learning or behavioral needs (min. 3 months).
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills.

• Deliver structured instruction aligned to IEP goals and lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behavior using consistent, proactive strategies.

What You’ll Need
