Job summary

Green Tree School & Services in Philadelphia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students, develop communication skills, and support independence. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to deliver individualized services aligned with IEP goals and ensure meaningful progress.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and data-driven updates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience working in a school or clinical setting with students who have special needs.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver targeted speech-language therapy.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain documentation of student growth.
• Create and evaluate IEP goals and provide data-driven updates for ongoing support.
• Use behavior management and engagement strategies to create a positive learning environment.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree from an accredited academic program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a school or clinical setting with students who have special needs
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
