Central Bucks School District seeks a Special Education Teacher - Autistic Support for Elementary, to serve as a long-term substitute at Warwick Elementary School. The successful candidate will prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes, applying Pennsylvania standards and IEP-driven strategies.

LOCATION: Warwick Elementary School
AVAILABLE: November 23, 2026 - June 11, 2027 (dates are approx.)
COMPENSATION: Salary according to CBEA Agreement or LTPD Rate
DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes. Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred. Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).
