Description

• Provides for a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Promote the educational growth of students, commensurate with student ability as described in individualized educational plans (IEP).
• Ability to relate to culturally diverse students desired.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification and/or valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped
• Willingness to work with students with diverse needs.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess the physical and mental capacity to perform major job responsibilities including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Following the established MCSSETA Salary Guide Step 1 $77,426
