Lake Albert Public School in Wagga Wagga, NSW, is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join its large regional teaching team. The role focuses on students with autism, intellectual disabilities and complex learning needs, including behavior support.

You will collaborate with curriculum teams, design differentiated, data-informed programs, and contribute to school improvement while ensuring every student is known, valued and supported to reach their potential.

Competenze

Approval to teach, and experience teaching students with Autism, intellectual disabilities, complex learning needs, and behavioural or emotional challenges.
Demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative curriculum planning and contribute positively to the whole school vision for improvement.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver differentiated, data-informed programs that use explicit teaching, evidence-based practice, and high expectations to improve academic, social, and behavioural outcomes.
Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to collaborate with all stakeholders to plan, deliver and review evidence-based, personalised learning and support plans.

Mansioni

Consultation with support staff to develop Individual Education Plans and targeted learning goals.
Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver differentiated instruction and data-informed programs.
Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and monitoring student outcomes.
