Special Education Teacher\ASD Specialist South Elementary School Position Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year Application Closing Date: Open until filled Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a life skills program setting. You will create a safe and nurturing learning environment where students can develop essential skills for independent living, social interaction, and career readiness.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with PPT team.
• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in both a self-contained and inclusion-based classroom setting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive learning opportunities for students with disabilities.

• Conduct reevaluations to determine continued eligibility and inform the IEP.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students,families,and colleagues.
