Position: Special Education Teacher
Pay: $61,500 with no certification, $64,575/year with certification & sign-on bonus available
Location: Amherst, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Special Education Teacher
As a Special Education Teacher, you will lead a collaborative team and manage all aspects of your classroom environment. You will provide tailored instruction to meet each student’s unique needs, coordinate with professionals from various disciplines, and serve as the case manager responsible for overseeing the progress and support of your assigned students.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Special Education required, Masters degree in Special Education preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: NYS Special Education Permanent certificate or Students with Disabilities certificate or actively working toward certification
