Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a state-approved K-12 program in Trumbull, CT. You will manage a caseload of up to 10 students, implement academic and behavioral programming, and oversee support staff, while collaborating with the BCBA and team to tailor individualized student plans.

The role requires CT certification in special education and familiarity with ABA/Precision Teaching.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis/Precision Teaching/Direct Instruction.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload up to 10 students.
• Valid driver’s license with ≥3 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload up to 10 students within a classroom and implement IEPs.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to instructional assistants and ABA therapists.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to develop and implement student programming.
• Maintain professional communication with families and school staff.
