Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and NJ certification eligibility required.
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in special education preferred.
Eligibility for Highly-Qualified Teacher status required.
Knowledge of teaching methods and programs for students with learning, physical, and behavioral disabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement classroom instruction meeting students' educational needs.
Assess abilities and develop individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
Monitor and modify IEPs to ensure goals remain appropriate and achievable.
Conduct parent training in classroom and at home.
Apply ABA principles in observation, intervention, data collection, and assessment.
