Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher to support a school in Trumbull, Connecticut for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher

• Pay: $52-$58/hr.
• Duration: 2026–2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching license or certification in Connecticut or applicable state endorsements
• Experience working with students with autism, behavioral challenges, or sensory needs preferred
• Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, sensory supports, and adaptive technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
