We are hiring a .5 FTE Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Skagit County, WA for the upcoming school year.

Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Skagit County, WA
• Schedule: Either morning or afternoon hours 5 days a week
• Caseload: Approximately 12

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

• Provide instruction in a variety of settings, including small group and one-on-one instruction.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed.
• Manage classroom behavior and provide a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with parents and school administrators.
• Attend and participate in meetings related to students' education, including IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

• Washington State Special Education license.
• ESA certification.
