Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract-full-time role in a school setting in Yelm, WA. The position offers $55 per hour and a 37.5 hour work week, with responsibilities that include delivering services to K-12 students and collaborating with the program administrator and general education staff to plan programs.

The ideal candidate holds a valid state teaching certificate (Elementary/Special Education), at least one year of teaching experience, and preferably an LBS1

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.
