Children’s Service Center is seeking an energetic and dependable individual who works well independently and as part of a treatment team. If you are ambitious and confident in your leadership abilities, the Pa. Certified Special Education Teacher position is ideal for you. Join our team to experience the positivity of helping change young people’s lives in a classroom setting. You will receive strong classroom support from a team including a teacher’s aide and a classroom therapist.

This professional position involves working in a Residential Treatment Facility or Partial Hospitalization program. Your role will include educating and establishing effective relationships with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. Supervision is provided by the Educational Coordinator.

• Collaborating effectively as part of a treatment team to support student growth and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
• Permanent or provisional certification or eligibility for provisional certification by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Special Education
