Overview

Vidalia City Schools is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator with strong behavior-support expertise who can design and deliver high-quality specialized instruction that helps students reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain compliant, high-quality Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with IDEA and Georgia Department of Education guidelines.
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ learning profiles in a small group setting (resource and/or self-contained).
• Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions to support student success.
• Collect, analyze, and report progress-monitoring data to inform instruction and IEP decision-making.
