Job summary

Amego, Inc. in Franklin, MA is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs.

You will design individualized instruction, create engaging classrooms, and collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and families to advance academic, communication, social, and independent living skills. Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE certification in Severe Disabilities preferred.
• Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities encouraged; waiver possible.
• Experience with students with developmental disabilities or intensive support needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction tailored to each student's learning needs and IEP goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Create engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environments for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, classroom staff, and families to support student progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress, maintain educational documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Celebrate student achievements and support independence across domains.
