Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained elementary classroom in the Tempe/Phoenix, AZ area. You will assess needs, develop IEPs, monitor progress, and implement instructional strategies to promote academic growth and independence.

The role requires AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance, CPR/First Aid, and experience with diverse learning and behavioral needs. The position offers a 40-hour school-week schedule and competitive pay with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Current NCI and CPR/First Aid Certifications are required.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs

• Valid Arizona Special Education Cross-Categorical Teacher Certification, or Special Education Certification with anID/MR or ED special area
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current NCI and CPR/First Aid Certifications
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
